Health Consultations

Heather 2018 11Consulting an Herbalist
Although herbs are easily used by most people and self-care is encouraged for nutrition, mild and self-limiting conditions, it takes a different level of expertise with herbs to address more complicated, long-term, chronic or unresponsive health concerns. Consulting with Heather can provide this level of expertise, uncover underlying health imbalances and causes, helping the individual build a strong foundation for wellness. Initial Health Consultation with Heather Níc an Fhleisdeir, Clinical Herbalist
An hour and a half clinical consultation allows time to review the bodies systems functioning, how they are interacting with one another, uncover upset body chemistry, discover imbalances and health concerns, and to explore health goals. This is an in depth look at what is troubling you, an opportunity to ask questions, discuss solutions and to receive guidance. Information from medical records, tests and reports can be taken into consideration, as well as medications and a review of supplements currently being taken. Please bring anything that you believe will help give a better picture of where you are at the time of your consultation.

Applying her unique knowledge of herb and body chemistry and a sensible healing philosophy, Heather can convey a fresh view of the situation, offer a solution and plan towards achieving your health goals. A champion of practical and affordable solutions, she offers a diversity of methods from nutrition and herb formulations to aromatherapy and lifestyle guidance of specific exercises, body work, environmental repairs, meditation and relaxation techniques to empower the individual to take their health into their own hands. All herb and nutrition protocols are highly detailed and customized to the individual. Heather personally designs each to carefully turn the situation around with gentle but rapid and targeted effects.

When To Expect Results
Most people experience a strong benefit immediately after taking their herb formulas and from each new action that they take.  Each individual can control the rate of progress they achieve by how much energy they are willing to put into their health goals. Take heart, it takes years for us to develop health concerns, however with diligence it usually only takes months for those years of troubles to turn around using herbs and a nutritional solution. These solutions are cost effective, time tested and well documented by scientific research. When you have reached a plateau in your progress or notice new concerns, this is when a follow-up consultation is suggested.
